To improve the quality of living for our residents, existing facilities are being upgraded, while new ones have been added to enhance amenities in Bukit Batok.
Completed Works
In Bukit Batok, nine estate improvement works have been completed. Here are the following new facilities:
Railings have been added to the bicycle ramp between Blocks 186 and 187 Bukit Batok West Avenue 6 to deter cyclists who do not dismount.
The revamped Fuji Hill Park located next to Block 225 Bukit Batok Central now features a giant tube slide and lush greenery, complete with boardwalks and cantilevered structures.
A new drop-off point at Block 101 Bukit Batok West Avenue 6 and Block 176 Bukit Batok West Avenue 8.
New extension to the drop-off point at Block 164 Bukit Batok Street 11.
New high linkway from Blocks 185 to 187 Bukit Batok West Avenue 6, plus new carpark and motorcycle lots, and new traffic warning road markings.
New high linkway from Blocks 207 to 208 Bukit Batok Street 21.
Bring your kids for a weekend outdoor activity at the refurbished playground at Block 624 Bukit Batok Central.
Embark on a new exercise routine at the upgraded fitness corner at Block 104 Bukit Batok Central.
Ongoing Works
Meanwhile, the following repainting and repair works are in progress in Bukit Batok:
- Revitalisation of shops, and repainting and repair works at Blocks 151 to 159, 164 and 166 Bukit Batok West Street 11/Avenue 8.
- Expected completion is by September 2021.
- Retiling works at concourse area, apron and drain replacement behind the block, replacement of old letterboxes, upgrading of bin centre, upgrading of awning and fire protection roller blinds, benches and bicycle racks, pavilion extension, block painting and other minor rectification works.
