Every year, Jurong-Clementi Town Council organises an iftar dinner for the Muslim community and our estate cleaners during Ramadan. Mr Murali Pillai (seated centre in white t-shirt), Member of Parliament for Bukit Batok SMC, joined residents for Iftar at the void deck of Block 188 to 193 at Bukit Batok West Avenue 6.
During the eve of Hari Raya Puasa, Jurong Central division hosted its annual iftar dinner for estate cleaners at Block 489 Jurong West Avenue. A delightful buffet spread awaited, with about 40 estate cleaners joining in. Mr Xie Yao Quan (centre in light blue t-shirt), Chairman, and Mr Wilson Tan, Vice-Chairman of Jurong-Clementi Town Council, graced the event with their presence.
Approximately 30 estate cleaners gathered at Block 241 Bukit Batok East Ave 5 on April 4, 2024 for the iftar dinner. This joyous occasion was made even more significant with the attendance of Madam Rahayu Mahzam (centre in light blue headscarf with blue blouse), Member of Parliament for Jurong GRC.
