In line with our regular estate improvement initiative, the facilities at Taman Jurong Park along Corporation Road are being upgraded currently as part of the neighbourhood renewal programme. The park – framed by Yung Ho Road, Yung Loh Road and Yung Ping Road – will feature facilities such as basketball courts, volleyball courts, badminton courts, futsal courts, sprinting track, barbecue area, treehouse, fitness corner, and adventure and children’s playgrounds.
In addition, to make the park more inclusive for all age groups, it will also be equipped with fitness corners for senior citizens, in keeping with the focus on active ageing. Open green spaces have also been incorporated into the design to let residents residing at Blocks 151 to 163, 155A and 163A enjoy nature with their families. The revamped park features a balanced combination of fitness, fun and recreational spaces within clearly designated zones. The estimate completion of the park will be by end of October.
