With the completion of fitness corners and playground in Jurong West Street 42, residents were thrilled to celebrate the new facilities with a year-end party on December 28, which was attended by Mr Ang Wei Neng, Advisor for Jurong GRC GROs and Member of Parliament for Jurong GRC.
The new features of the upgraded areas include elderly fitness equipment at the resident’s corner between Blocks 436 and 437; renovated children’s playground between Blocks 434 and 436; an adult fitness corner between Blocks 434 and 436; and an improved badminton court with new acrylic coating in Block 435.
While the grown-ups can enjoy features such as hand cycle, hydraulic stepper and rolling waist, children can now have a better experience with new playground equipment such as speed racer, and rock and cross.
The completion of these upgraded facilities will culminate in a year-end party at the new playground, which will have activities such as a colouring contest for children. Light refreshments were served at the event.
