Chairman’s Message

Dear resident,

I am delighted to pen my first message to you as Chairman of the Jurong-Clementi Town Council. I look forward to continue Mr Ang Wei Neng’s incredible work in the last 10 years to build our Town into a better home for all. 

We have been moving progressively towards a new normal of living with COVID-19.  In-person Meet-the-People sessions have resumed, and my colleagues and I look forward to meeting and supporting you while maintaining safe distancing measures.

Services and works across the Town are also steadily returning to normal levels. We thank residents for your patience and understanding in the past months. We will continue to work closely with our service partners, and press on with projects to rejuvenate our estates. 

Indeed, we have stepped up our dengue prevention efforts in all estates. Your health and safety continue to be our priority. 

Our residents will always be at the centre of all we do. At the same time, let us work together to build an even stronger community, with the same spirit that was on full display during our extraordinary National Day celebrations across the Town and our island. Let us continue doing our part to guard against Covid-19 and dengue fever. Let us continue watching out for one another. Together, we will emerge stronger and make Jurong-Clementi an exemplary Town.
