A series of facilities upgrading and estate improvement works in the neighbourhood launched have now been completed.
Residents will be happy to note that the playground areas in Yuhua, specifically Blk 233 Jurong East Street 21 and Blk 243 Jurong East Street 24 have been reinvigorated with new equipment that provides more fun and interactive activities for young children of different age groups. This includes spiral tube slides, abacus and memory panels, vertical climber, conifer climber, snake climber, inclined loop link, among others. The playground has been designed to encourage more agility and active play in an outdoor surrounding among children for holistic development.
Meanwhile, the fitness corner in Blk 291B Bukit Batok Street 24 has been renovated with new and user-friendly equipment that promote a healthy and active lifestyle among adults. The fitness corner along the park connector is located in a calm outdoor setting and features such installations as an arch ladder, stretch pole, body twister and vault bar, to name a few.
